Condemmed to Death?

When the monster killed poor William i was sort of surprised because you wouldn't expect him to even know where he lived for one and two how would he know to find him with just Justine alone there with him? And the monster has obviously learned many things just like a new born baby would learn. He knows the ways of man now and he was intelligent to know how to make the murder look like somebody else's fault entirely. He put the necklace in Justine pocket. It saddens me to know that people do such evil harsh things and still manage to get away with it. Justine was completely innocent and only two people really believed her. Victor believes her because he knows it was his creation that committed the crime. And Elizabeth believes her because of the previous relationship with her that she was an extremely kind person who would never harm anybody. Even the evidence presented i still would've thought they might have found another way to tell if she had really murdered the boy. When she had confessed her crime it made it almost impossible for any witnesses to prove or try to help her with her innocence. This confession suprised me because i know myself that i would never confess to something i didnt do no matter how much trouble it is. But one thing that did surprise me was the fact that Victor could have saved Justine's life with just telling the people about his creation. They may not have believed him but i still think it could have preserved her life a little longer so that they could have real evidence of the monster...

Do you agree on the fact that Victor should have at least tried to save her with his actual truth or do u believe he did the right thing by keeping his mouth shut?

  1. I think he owed it to her as his bride to tell her what was hunting her. Perhaps she would have lived. Secrets killed Victor and everything he loved I believe.
